The Birth of an Angel

I want to talk about the mystical birth of another of my paintings – “The Birth of an Angel.” The first mysticism is that this is the only work of mine that I started three times.

At first, I wanted to paint three angels on the canvas — my version of the “Trinity.” Everything was going smoothly and well, but the face of the third angel didn’t want to be born. It was as if it was waiting for its time.

I put off work.

I'm used to trusting the Universe.

Time passed. One day, sometime in 2014, I was once again overcome by an irresistible desire to paint. There was no blank canvas, and then the unfinished "Trinity" came to my hand.

I opened the paints, took the brushes, and didn't even have time to think about what I was going to draw.

The picture began to emerge on its own.

Within a few hours, a barely noticeable bird was already flying on the canvas.

True, I had no idea what I was drawing, and that it was she who would appear.

It was as if the Spirit itself was guiding my hand.

Was he a Saint?

I don't know.

But he was incredible.

When a person feels such energies, it is impossible to forget. I think many artists spend their entire lives searching for this state, when they manage to touch Heaven, at least for a moment.

I was lucky.

I touched.

In those moments, it seemed as if she herself was that dove.

Then the painting went back to the corner. For a few months, maybe longer.

I drew a lot. There was no point in analyzing. I just gave into the world what I received.

One day the time came, and I sat with a brush in front of that mysterious bird again.

The face was born in a strange way. It was as if it was being molded from clay, and I only managed to notice the moment when some part of it was already becoming complete.

Surprisingly, there was still an unfinished smear in one eye. Like a tear.

Who knows... Maybe it was because of tears that he was born.

Just a moment.

And the right wing was ready.

That's it. That's the end of the escort.

I've already painstakingly finished the second side myself, mirroring it a bit, trying not to ruin the charm.

No, not the work itself, although it is truly magical to me.

The magic of that state.

Many years have passed.

There was a lot of joy.

There were many tears.

Today I no longer try to explain what happened to me then.

I only know that sometimes a person is given brief moments when Heaven becomes very close.

And if you are lucky enough to experience such a state at least once, it will remain in your heart forever.

I think an angel lives in every kind heart.

Sometimes he is quietly silent.

And sometimes it really wants to manifest itself.
