Inspiration

Author's photos for inspiration

Once upon a time, I didn't know what to draw, where to look for ideas and where to get creative inspiration.

Today, the topic of inspiration is no longer a mystery to me.

The magic of this process has long passed into my normal working circumstances.

My main secret of inspiration is BEAUTY.

To create beauty, you need to be inspired by beauty!

The first is the beauty of the surrounding world. Nature is an inexhaustible source of various forms, perfect lines, harmonious combinations of colors.

And everyone can find their own. What will inspire him.

For me personally, this is first and foremost flowers. Their beauty and diversity.

Look for beauty around you! Look carefully at everything that surrounds you and visually "grab" what you find beautiful. Let it be just a whimsical shape of a tree trunk, a spike of roadside grass or a beautifully curved line of a willow twig. The main thing is to enjoy this beauty, be glad that you saw it. You are truly lucky to see this wonder! The perfection of a simple field chamomile is no less than the perfection of exotic African flowers! stop

Beauty is always with you!

Genius is always simple! Merge with her, dissolve in her purity.

It is good, of course, when there is an opportunity to travel and be inspired by wonderful exotic landscapes. Just be open, only then emotions and impressions overflow and give new ideas and a creative impulse.

But it is not necessary to go far. The great artist Monet drew his inspiration from his own garden, where he took care of flowers, trees and a pond.

Travel around your city, go out of town for the weekend, look for your strengths. Motherland Ukraine is rich in wonderful corners of nature in all its regions.

• My first and main advice - seizureis going in search of beauty!

• Second tip – tune in to the positive vibe. In a good mood, you can move mountains and catch up with your muse.

• The third tip – rejoice! Rejoice at every meeting with the beautiful! Joy is the litmus test that, like a sign on the road, points you in the right direction. If what you do brings you joy, you are on the right path (I advise you to read Antarova's notes "The Science of JOY")

• Choose your favorite business. When you do what you love, the process always takes place with enthusiasm.

• Study. You can't think of anything better than what O. Bismarck said on this matter.

"Study as if you were to live forever; live as if you had to die tomorrow."

• Learn everything:

Increase your skill level. Study the classic style in the works of other artists. Find an academic drawing teacher. Take lessons. Although it is boring, but sometimes it is necessary.

Study the lives and works of great people. Learn from everyone, but be yourself. In graphics classes, we try to draw like the great artists Picasso and Van Gogh, in the course of development of creative abilities we try the surrealism of Salvador Dali, and in classes on Petrykyvka painting - we learn from the masters of Petrykyvka. Learn new techniques. It is interesting to try: watercolor, pastel, gouache, oil, carvings, stained glass painting, decorative painting on wood, henna body painting...

Study the creativity of the peoples of the world. (In calligraphy classes, we study Ukrainian fonts with pleasure, cursive script of Grigory Skovoroda, Chinese characters, and the variety of Japanese cherry blossoms complements perfectly creative skills development course)

Study the history of your people. This will nourish your roots. Learn more about ancient Slavic holidays and Ukrainian needlework. Discover the secrets of the symbols on Easter eggs, scratch cards and drawings, visit museums and exhibitions of folk art.

Study colors and their combinations. Look for what pleases your eye. Pay attention to each color! On the course Colorists we study more than 100 colors.

- For new color ideas, good magazines will also help. Experienced designers work there. They have many interesting color solutions and unexpected combinations. There is something to learn! Open the magazine on the page, next to it on the palette, dilute the colors in the same shades and boldly draw.

-Or visit a fabric store. Find something new and interesting there. You will definitely find what you need. If you found it, remember which colors you liked and feel free to use such combinations. Just don't forget to consider the proportions!

Get acquainted with the ornaments of different countries.

• Read. Read stories, fairy tales, legends, poetry. All this is good ground for imagination and creation of new images. Get inspired by poems and cheer up with funny stories. Remember your children's books and make up your own stories.

• Listen to music, birdsong and folk songs.

• Watch good movies. There are such masterpieces of cinematography, after watching which you want not only to live, but also to fly, sing, create...

• You can draw inspiration from dreams. You can find confirmation of this and the methodology in the article "Dreaming is a powerful tool of creativity»

• Find like-minded people. Having friends makes it much easier and more interesting to make dreams come true.

• Do good deeds. Give the warmth of your heart.

• Communicate with children. See how they draw. How they get pleasure from this process! They don't care what happens. They do not need recognition from others. Draw with them. Draw easily without straining. Don't treat creativity as hard work. Feel the freedom to draw everything and nothing. Laugh with your children over your crippled babies.

• Remember your loved ones more often. My beloved granddaughter Masha is my great inspiration. One thought about her brings a smile to my face and sends me into a wave of boundless LOVE.

When she was not yet three years old, when I offered to help her draw, she always firmly answered:

- I am an artist here!

And this is the truth. And each of us is an artist. Well, at least your own life.

Draw, create, be inspired by life itself and it will surely respond to you INSPIRATION!!!

I will be happy

  if "My Inspiration"

at least it helped you a little.

With love, Victoria Davydova

PSAlways ready to share her ideas and inspiration in classes.
