Once upon a time, I had a talented student, Katya, who liked my work. She bought me more than one job and I am sincerely grateful to her for her support and still sometimes mention her in my prayers. She once ordered me a painting for my bedroom "Two Angels".

I was happy with the order. She prayed, adjusted herself, took a brush in her hands and began to write. Without a sketch, without thinking, she just intuitively applied stroke after stroke until she finished. She was satisfied with the work. Many small details succeeded, which were (in my opinion) very interesting, and some were simply mesmerizing with the beauty of the lines. What was my surprise when the customer said that the picture did not suit her, that it was too bright.

Feeling a little upset, I took the brush in my hands again in the evening and began to highlight the dark places and remove the bright moments. I went to bed late and had a strange dream. It's as if I'm standing in some temple, under the dome, and I continue to write these angels. And then a voice rang out (as if from nowhere): "What are you doing? HE has already written everything for you!!!" I woke up in fright and, of course, no longer went to work with a brush...

I'm a little sorry that I ruined that original beauty. She remained in these photos and still lies under a layer of paint and in my memories and experiences. THANK YOU very much.
