Turtledove
Thank you, August, for your warmth,
For a cool evening and gifts,
For ripe apples and fragrant pears,
For honey and plums, and for fateful kisses.
And I sincerely thank you,
That you woke me up in the morning with a dove,
And there are swallows in the sky above me
Chirping a song at dawn.
Mom's kiss... warm pies...
I will pluck a mint leaf with it.
The aroma of hostas and violets
I will remember you, August.
